Roger Grosse is an Associate Professor of Computer Science at the University of Toronto, a Schwartz Reisman Chair in Technology and Society, founding member of the Vector Institute, Sloan Fellow, and Schmidt Sciences AI2050 Senior Fellow.

Roger is also a Member of Technical Staff on the Alignment Science Team at Anthropic. Roger received his PhD in Computer Science from MIT. His research focuses on neural net training dynamics, and more recently, applying insights into deep learning to AI alignment.
