“It was an honour to deliver the inaugural Hinton Lecture hosted by the AI Safety Foundation. This lecture series addresses one of the most pressing challenges of our time — understanding and mitigating the catastrophic risks that advanced AI may pose. As AI capabilities continue to rapidly develop, initiatives like the Hinton Lectures play a critical role in fostering the research and dialogue necessary to address this challenge.”
